Apparently, like a surfer catching a wave, these goliaths can ride currents on the ocean surface to cross large areas of open sea, researchers now reveal. Gators make their way between islands near India, Southeast Asia, and Northern Australia.

It took the licensed trapper and other two men over an hour to secure this gator. Wildlife Officers were able to relocated this guy from the beach he was captured at, on Amelia Island, back to the swamps in Florida.
