Meet the cats that are making sure rats don’t get between you and your beer at Empirical Brewery in Chicago.
Adopted Feral cats trade their mouse hunting skills in exchange for food and shelter. The cats were actually adopted by the brewery from the Chicago Humane Society.
This is why cats were domesticated into our lives in the first place. The Egyptians used them to keep rats, and all other rodents away from grain silos starting about 5000 years ago. How awesome is this?!
